Editorial policy & methodology
Independence
Editorial decisions are made by our editors, not by the companies we cover. We carry no affiliate links or referral arrangements in news coverage. We do publish a small number of commissioned company profiles at a company’s request; these are always labelled “Company Profile · Commercial Feature” on the article and in every listing, are based on the company’s own published information, and are not independent tests or endorsements. Payment is not the only possible interest: this publication or its owners may also hold shared ownership or other stakes in, or have other incentives relating to, a company or project covered here. Readers should treat any article as potentially non-independent and rely on the legal disclaimer. Automated briefings are never paid for.
Sources
We prioritise primary sources: official publications of Swiss authorities and recognised industry bodies. Specialist and general media are monitored for Swiss stories and for genuinely significant global crypto developments. Each report is labelled “Switzerland” or “Global”. Every report links to its source.
Feeds monitored automatically: FINMA, Swiss National Bank, Swiss Blockchain Federation, Lugano Plan ₿, NZZ Technologie, Netzwoche, Ledger Insights, CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, The Block, Decrypt and DL News. Events are imported from the public Crypto Valley community calendar on Luma.
Automation & AI disclosure
An automated monitor checks these feeds every hour. An item is considered only if the headline (or, strongly, the opening of the excerpt) is about blockchain, crypto-assets, DLT, stablecoins or tokenization and either has a Swiss connection or is a significant global development (regulation, major institutions, market infrastructure, stablecoins, tokenization, major protocol or security events). Price speculation, technical analysis, memecoins, airdrops and press-release noise are excluded. Near-duplicate headlines from different outlets are merged. Items must be recent: 14 days for most sources, 180 days for Swiss industry bodies that publish rarely, always shown with the source’s own date. Duplicates are removed by URL.
- An AI model, accessed through Lovable AI, then checks relevance and writes a 1–2 sentence summary using only the source headline and excerpt. It also rates how noteworthy a global story is, and flags legal proceedings, allegations, enforcement, hacks, price moves and regulatory interpretation as sensitive.
- A brief publishes automatically only if the AI is highly confident (at least 0.8) that it is relevant, nothing is flagged sensitive, it is not a regulator notice, and — for global stories — it is rated highly noteworthy. Everything else waits for human review.
- Automatic briefs are labelled “Automated briefing”, state that AI was used, and have not been checked by a human editor. We never republish full articles or images.
- Guides by the “Swiss Blockchain Research Desk” are written with research assistance and cite official sources. They are general information, not legal advice.
